One problem I identified when researching homelessness was that it is difficult for people experiencing homelessness to know what resources are available to them. Mobility is also an issue, because walking is the primary means of transportation. To solve this, I designed a search tool in which users could enter their zip codes to locate nearby resources.

This is one of several pages that list resources by category. This page lists all food resources in St. Louis.

Haven St. Louis

I designed a website for people at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness in St. Louis. The website has a search box that locates surrounding resources as a way of streamlining the process of finding them. The website also lists resources in St. Louis by category. If this website were to expand, I could see it listing many more services including medical care, clothing resources, mental health resources, and substance abuse resources, to name a few.
